I have yet to find a fake meat that tastes even remotely nice.
Personally I'd just ditch fake meat and have a paneer and beetroot burger.
So many lovely vegetables no need to pretend it's meat.

Have you tried Beyond meat? Ive had it from a couple of fast food places now and its actually pretty good considering.

Vivera also do fake chicken which I actually really enjoy from GBK, its never been easier to be Vegan tbh, I feel for the Vegans of 20yrs ago, living on lentils and beans. But After seeing footage and just finding out industry standard practices in the UK, I will never touch meat or dairy again.

It Is slightly harder when it comes to say cakes or treats but even then theres plenty of accidentally vegan or vegan specific desserts now.

I genuinely feel like it would ruin my life going veggie, let alone vegan.

I’m sure I’ve got some form of meat addiction

I actually think we all do as most us are all brought up to eat meat. But also, the vast majority of us are against animal abuse right?

Theres cognitive dissonance there, and once you flip that switch that makes you go oh hang on, that cows life is worth the same as a dogs life, and you couldn't stand seeing a dog bolt gunned in the head and hacked up, you wont want to pay for that to happen again.

Yes, texture was okay but it tasted rubbish.
Rather have a falafel burger.
