Windows 10 has built in recording software Windows Key+G. Might be enough?

If you have an nVidia GPU ShadowPlay is still the best for easy to use, low performance impact, video capture from games. Otherwise the next step from there is still OBS.

I'm using a mix of Windows and OBS. Windows to save the last 30 seconds, and OBS if I want to do a full recording. Shadowplay also works but I didn't want the entire GFE bloat.
